There are a lot of issues when it comes to Taxi drivers in the Philippines. There are perverts, bullies, reckless drivers, overpriced fares, and the list goes on. Uber has been an effective substitute to avoid these guys but since Uber services were suspended, passengers went back to using taxi cabs. Here is a viral story of a taxi passenger who tricked an abusive taxi driver.

Today’s Experience with a Taxi Driver since wala ng UBER!

Tsuper: Boss trapik dun.

Me: E pa’no?

Tsuper: Sige. Basta dagdagan mo ha. P100.

(sumakay ako, Umandar. Nagtulug-tulugan habang natatrapik.. Nakarating sa BGC…..)

Metro: 209 pesoses.

Tsuper: Yung dagdag ha.

Me: Nag-abot ng P220. Some Latin sounding gibberish in the form of incantation na may patirik-tirik pa ng mata. Dinila-dilaan at hinipan ang pera…Pasigaw ang pagtatapos at nag ala- Mariah Carey whistle!

“Globilium Sancti Taxium Tsuperas Punyateras!!”

And that, my friend, is how you deal with dagdag. Insane but effective!! LOLS!!! Alam nyo na ha!!

To write it short, Joselito Delos Reyes rode a taxi and had a fare of P220. The fare displayed on the meter was only P220 but the taxi wants an additional fare of 100, saying it was traffic. Here’s what he did, he handed the P220 first and before giving the extra P100, he whispered to it, he whispered like saying latin-gibberish words of incantation to the money. The taxi driver then refused to accept the money and thought that he was a witch and had cursed the money.
